It’s time for your exceptional undergraduates to register for the 2022 Psychology Undergraduate Research Symposium.

The symposium will be held on Friday April 22nd from 3 – 5 p.m. The keynote speaker, Dr. Gord Asmundson, will present from 3 – 4 p.m. Posters will be presented from 4 – 5 p.m. We have decided to hold this year’s symposium virtually by Zoom.

Any student who is interested in presenting a poster will need to register for the symposium using this link. We especially encourage presenters from Tri-Cities, Vancouver, and Global Campus! Registration is open until Wednesday April 20th at 5 p.m. Thank you for supporting undergraduate research!

Nickolas Glodosky Receives Russ and Anne Fuller Fellowship

Congratulations to Nicholas Glodosky for his selection to receive the Russ and Anne Fuller Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Research/Scholarship for the 2022/23 academic year. The Graduate School Evening of Excellence will be held on April 7, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center.

Experimental Psychology Graduate Student, Andrea Bazzoli, receives the Charles Allen Master’s Thesis Award from the WSU Graduate School.

Congratulations to Andrea Bazzoli for receiving the Charles Allen Master’s Thesis Award from the WSU Graduate School. It is due to the generosity of Estate of Charles Allen that the Graduate School is able to award this scholarship.  The Graduate School Evening of Excellence will be held on April 7, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center.

Dr. Tahira Probst was listed among the top 2% for overall career and single year citations within the Business and Economics field.

A December 2020 Stanford PLOS Biology publication ranked the world’s top scientists.  Dr. Tahira Probst was listed among the top 2% for overall career and single year citations within the Business and Economics field. Congratulations Dr. Probst!

Chioma Heim receives MLK Distinguished Service Award

Congratulations to Chioma Heim.  She has received the Martin Luther King Jr Distinguished Service Award.  The award was presented on January 23rd at WSU Pullman’s CUB Senior Ballroom, during the 33rd Annual MLK Program.    The photo of Chioma, was taken with the keynote speaker, W. Kamau Bell.

Amy Nusbaum Receives CLASP Award

Congratulations to Amy Nusbaum. She is the recipient of this year’s CLASP Award (Critical Literacies Achievement & Success). The award will be presented at the OUE ceremony April 24 from 3-4:30.
